Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies in our production processes and implementing effective solutions that enhance operational effectiveness. This role requires the ability to analyze workflows and propose improvements based on technical expertise and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess production efficiencies and suggest workflow improvements.
• Research and implement new manufacturing technologies.
• Engage in team meetings to share insights on operational strategies.
• Develop training materials for staff on engineering principles.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve material flow.
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate production performance.
• Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to during projects.
• Document findings and propose modifications for future strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Certification in Lean or Six Sigma is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
