Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The consultant will be pivotal in safeguarding sensitive data, implementing security measures, and managing security incidents. You will collaborate with IT departments to evaluate security protocols and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Your expertise will ensure that our company remains resilient against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Analyze attack vectors and compare them against security measures.
• Ensure compliance with local and international security standards.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure secure networks.
• Create operational metrics to track vulnerabilities and incidents.
• Deliver reports on security effectiveness and areas for improvement.
• Develop and provide security awareness programs for employees.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles

• Security protocols

Certifications

• Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate
