Job Description

As a Ground School Instructor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the careers of aspiring pilots. You will be responsible for imparting aviation theory and practical skills, ensuring that students not only understand the concepts but can also apply them in real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ground school training for aspiring pilots in a clear and engaging manner.
• Assess and update course content to meet current aviation regulations.
• Assist in the design and implementation of aviation safety training programs.
• Encourage student participation and enhance classroom discussions.
• Review and analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with other instructors to ensure consistency in training delivery.
• Manage classroom resources and ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Engage with parents and students regarding academic progress and concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to departmental goals.
• Actively promote the aviation programs within the community.

Requirements

Education

• Commercial pilot's license
• Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field
• Teaching qualification is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a ground school or classroom setting

• Learning Management Systems

Certifications

• South African Aviation Regulation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
