Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Feeders and Offbearers to operate and maintain felt tipping machines for the production of writing utensils. Ideal candidates will ensure production efficiency while adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate felt tipping machines effectively while ensuring output quality.
• Adjust machine parameters based on production requirements.
• Conduct inspections and tests on finished products.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Document production activities and report discrepancies.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies needed for operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma required
• Certification in manufacturing or mechanical operations is an advantage

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferably in the stationery sector

Technical Skills

• Quality control
• Basic maths skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Advantageous

• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles: Knowledge of Lean concepts for production efficiency.
• Previous experience in the stationery industry: Background knowledge in the stationery manufacturing sector is advantageous.
