Job Description

As a Nursing Officer at our Durban facility, you will play an integral role in providing exceptional patient care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best health outcomes for our patients, demonstrating compassion and professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized nursing care to promote patient well-being.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes.
  • Assist in the development of patient care plans.
  • Coordinate with doctors and specialists regarding patient treatment.
  • Provide education to patients on medication and treatment options.
  • Document patient information and care administered.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress.
  • Implement infection control and safety protocols.
  • Engage in community health initiatives and outreach.
  • Mentor and support junior nursing staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing is advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
