Responsibilities

• Create structural designs that are innovative, safe, and cost-effective.
• Conduct research and engage in continuous learning in structural engineering advancements.
• Collaborate with the project management team to develop schedules.
• Assure the integrity and longevity of structures through rigorous testing.
• Plan and execute comprehensive design assessments.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide engineering solutions.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of construction bids.
• Utilize advanced software tools for design and structural simulations.
• Work closely with contractors to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Evaluate project outcomes and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master’s in Structural Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• STAAD Pro
• SAP2000

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer status
• Green Building Engineer certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in BIM: Experience with Building Information Modeling for efficient project execution.
• Experience with international design codes: Familiarity with codes such as Eurocode or AISC.
