Job Description

The Downstream Biomanufacturing Technician plays a critical role in operating and maintaining downstream equipment for effective biomanufacturing processes. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with other team members, ensuring high-quality biologics are produced while adhering to rigorous safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and upkeep of downstream processing equipment like centrifuges and media preparation systems.
• Execute cleaning and sterilization of work areas and all equipment used in production.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of equipment issues and support maintenance activities.
• Facilitate training sessions for new team members on operational standards and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, ensuring alignment with industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Biotechnology or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in downstream biomanufacturing
