Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to enhance our pharmacy team in Cape Town. Your responsibilities will include managing prescriptions, providing health consultations, and contributing to community wellness initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense and manage all pharmaceutical products in accordance with regulations.
• Assist patients and healthcare professionals with drug information and therapeutic recommendations.
• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
• Engage in health promotion and disease prevention activities.
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Support pharmacy operations by mentoring junior staff.
• Actively participate in professional development and continuing education.
• Address patient queries regarding medications and health concerns.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Additional Pharmacy Certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.

• Clinical Pharmacy

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
