UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. This role involves creating user-centered designs, conducting user research, and collaborating with developers to ensure a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop user personas and journey maps to enhance user understanding.
• Utilize design software (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) to produce design assets.
• Integrate user feedback to continuously improve the design process.
• Work within an agile environment and participate in sprint planning.
• Engage in cross-departmental communication to align project goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in digital products

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Responsive Design Principles

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with design systems: Experience working with or creating design systems for scalability.
