Job Description

As an Environmental Engineer at Environmental Solutions Co. in Durban, you will be responsible for designing strategies that promote sustainability and minimize ecological footprints. We are looking for someone who is committed to environmental protection and has hands-on experience in compliance assessments.

Responsibilities

• Assess environmental data to make informed recommendations.
• Design projects that promote environmental sustainability.
• Interface with clients to discuss project specifications.
• Implement innovative solutions to mitigate environmental risks.
• Review and provide feedback on environmental compliance reports.
• Conduct field investigations to collect environmental samples.
• Provide technical advice on environmental impact issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns on best practices.
• Engage with local communities regarding environmental projects.
• Stay updated on new environmental regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience including fieldwork and project management

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)

Languages
