Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, providing exceptional support to our users and helping to maintain the integrity of our systems. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist in network maintenance, and implement IT solutions that enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Provide technical support to users, both on-site and remotely.
• Manage and maintain IT equipment and infrastructure.
• Assist in the setup of new users and IT systems.
• Monitor and maintain system security and performance.
• Collaborate with the IT team on various projects.
• Document processes and create user manuals.
• Provide training and support to staff on software and hardware usage.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role

• Active Directory

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• ITIL Certification: Understanding of ITIL framework for service management.
