Job Description

As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting learners with special needs. Your main responsibilities will include developing individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborating with fellow educators, and ensuring a supportive and adaptive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to provide support and resources.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods as necessary.
• Engage students in a variety of learning experiences tailored to their needs.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and documentation.
• Create a supportive classroom environment that fosters inclusivity.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education, preferably with a focus on Special Needs
• Master's degree in Special Education is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of teaching experience including special education
