Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our Cape Town team. The successful candidate will be involved in designing, testing, and analysing aircraft systems. You will play a pivotal role in pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new aerospace technologies and methodologies.
• Develop prototypes and conduct field tests.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical insights.
• Ensure that all designs meet industry standards and regulations.
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively.
• Assist in the integration of systems and software in aerospace design.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace projects

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Project Management

Certifications

• Aerospace Technician Certification
• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in aerospace simulation software: Experience with software tools for simulating performance of aerospace vehicles.
