Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and assessment of structural systems, ensuring they are effective, safe, and sustainable. You will work closely with architects and contractors to bring innovative designs to life.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural design calculations and specifications.
• Engage in site inspections and report progress to management.
• Formulate and submit proposals for new projects.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Liaise with local authorities regarding permitting and approvals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in structural analysis and design
