Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to safeguard our networks and information systems. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate security measures.

Responsibilities

• Assess technology changes or implementations for compliance with security standards.
• Establish and maintain security protocols to protect clients and company data.
• Provide technical guidance to IT staff regarding security issues.
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Participate in audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to security policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Relevant certification is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in cybersecurity framework implementation

• Incident Response

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with compliance regulations: Experience with regulations such as GDPR, POPIA, and HIPAA.
