Job Description

As a Public Health Officer at Health Solutions Co., you will be responsible for conducting health assessments, developing community health education programs, and working with various organizations to promote better health practices across Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of health education programs.
• Evaluate public health risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure service integration.
• Engage with the community to raise awareness about health issues.
• Assist in the development of grant proposals to secure funding.
• Work with local government to influence health regulations.
• Analyze and report on health statistics to inform policy decisions.
• Train and mentor junior health officers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is an advantage

Experience

• Experience in health policy analysis or health program evaluation
