Civil Engineer

Job Description

In the Civil Engineer role, you will work closely with project managers and other engineers to design and develop infrastructure projects. You will play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee construction of infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and water systems.
• Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance.
• Review and approve construction drawings and materials.
• Develop project timelines and manage project execution.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections at construction sites.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during construction.
• Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
• Manage project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

Education

• BSc in Civil Engineering

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering roles

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Civil 3D

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• ECSA Registration (Professional Enginner)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of project financial management: Ability to manage project budgets and financial forecasting.
• Proficiency in GIS software: Experience using GIS tools for planning and analysis.
