SEO Specialist

Job Description

Join our Cape Town office as an SEO Specialist! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that increase organic search traffic. You will work closely with content marketing teams, analyse trends, and track performance to ensure our clients get the results they need.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive SEO audits of websites.
• Utilize Google Analytics and Search Console to track performance.
• Work with various teams to ensure SEO-friendly website design.
• Create and maintain SEO documentation for workflows and processes.
• Train and mentor junior SEO staff as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in SEO and digital marketing

Technical Skills

• SEO Tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs)
• Google Analytics
• HTML/CSS Basics

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Communication

Certifications

• Google Analytics Certified
• SEO Certification from a recognized institution

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with PPC advertising: Knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or other PPC platforms.
• Strong writing skills: Ability to create compelling content to improve engagement.
