We are seeking a skilled Mining Engineer to join our Durban team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mining operations, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing production processes. Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of mining projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure continuous improvement of mining processes.
• Collaborate with health and safety officers to enhance workplace safety.
• Facilitate training and development activities for junior engineers.
• Assess and mitigate environmental impacts of mining activities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry trends and regulations.
• Perform budget management and cost analysis for mining operations.
• Drive sustainability initiatives within the mining department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Geology
• Master's degree in Geology or a related field is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in mining or geological engineering
