We are searching for a Lathe Scalper Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate a lathe machine to produce precision metal components used in various industries, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathe machinery for the production of various metal components.
• Evaluate and select suitable materials based on product specifications.
• Ensure compliance with quality control measures at every stage of production.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and enhanced productivity.
• Assist in quality inspections and testing of finished products.
• Prepare machine for production runs through setup and calibration.
• Maintain production logs and records for accountability.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for machine repairs and servicing.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss goals and performance updates.
• Provide feedback on tooling and equipment for future purchases.
