Job Description

The Knit Goods Washer is responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of knit products in our textile manufacturing facility. This role requires operating washing machines, monitoring the cleaning process, and ensuring that quality standards are met. A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate washing machines based on the requirements of different types of knit goods.
• Conduct quality checks after the cleaning process to maintain high standards.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or equivalent
• Previous experience in textile manufacturing or similar role is an advantage.

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a cleaning or manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals

Languages
