Job Description

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various civil engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver top-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Interface with governmental and regulatory bodies for project approvals.
• Review and approve project designs and documentation.
• Assess materials and construction methods for project suitability.
• Develop training programs for junior engineers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Engage in stakeholder communication to ensure project alignment.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to inform future projects.
• Ensure all engineering work meets sustainability goals.
• Prepare presentations for client meetings and project reviews.
• Mentor junior engineering staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, including project management
