Job Description

As a Technician Support Engineer, you'll be the backbone of our technical support team, delivering effective solutions for a variety of IT challenges. Your role involves troubleshooting issues, assisting customers, and maintaining vital systems that keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by troubleshooting issues in a quick and efficient manner.
• Work closely with vendors to manage warranty repairs and service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices in the support process.
• Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of reports on support metrics and performance.
• Develop and execute test plans for new software and hardware.
• Implement security measures to protect customer data and IT equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent experience

Experience

• At least 2 years in a similar technical support position

Technical Skills

• Technical Troubleshooting
• ITIL Knowledge

Certifications

• Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Database Technologies: Familiarity with SQL or Oracle database systems is desirable.
