Apex Tax Services is looking for an experienced Tax Specialist to ensure that our clients remain compliant with their tax obligations. This role involves preparing tax returns, conducting audits, and providing tailored consulting services to enhance tax strategies. The ideal candidate should have a knack for numbers and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and finalize tax reports for accuracy before submission.
• Assist clients in tax planning and forecasting.
• Investigate discrepancies in tax documents and rectify them promptly.
• Prepare responses to the South African Revenue Services (SARS) queries.
• Monitor compliance deadlines to avoid penalties.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Postgraduate diploma in Taxation is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a tax consultancy environment

• Value Added Tax (VAT) Expertise
• Accounting Software Proficiency
