Financial Analyst

Job Description

As a Financial Analyst at our Cape Town office, you will play a key role in evaluating financial policies and processes while providing insights that enhance our financial strategies. Strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of financial modeling will be essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and report on variances from the budget.
• Develop predictive financial models to support business planning.
• Prepare financial presentations for quarterly business reviews.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance understanding of financial metrics.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required by senior management.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities across the organization.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts in data interpretation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.
• Maintain financial databases and ensure data integrity.
• Report on industry trends to inform business strategy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Master's degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role
