Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are in search of a detail-oriented Tax Consultant who is passionate about providing top-notch tax services to our clients. As part of our Durban office, you will conduct thorough tax analyses, prepare tax documents, and help clients make informed financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax compliance reviews and prepare tax returns.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies and compliance.
• Keep up to date with tax regulations and changes.
• Assist clients with audits and tax disputes.
• Provide detailed analyses of tax matters.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional service.
• Prepare and present tax-related reports to management.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure holistic financial support.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Mentor junior staff and help with training on tax-related matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Master's degree or relevant tax certification is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in taxation or related field.
