Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Public Health Officer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will work on developing, implementing, and evaluating public health policies and programs. You will engage with community stakeholders to promote health initiatives and ensure the effective dissemination of health information.

Responsibilities

  • Design community outreach programs to foster health awareness.
  • Utilize health data to track public health trends.
  • Evaluate and report on public health program effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with government agencies for public health initiatives.
  • Engage the community in health promotion activities.
  • Facilitate training and workshops for community members.
  • Respond to public health inquiries and educate the public on health issues.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences
  • Postgraduate qualification in Public Health is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in health program management
