Theater Director

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Theater Director to oversee the creative vision and production of our upcoming theatrical performances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with a diverse team, leading rehearsals, and ensuring each production is delivered on time and to the highest quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of production design, including sets, costumes, and audiovisual elements.
• Establish strong relationships with the marketing team to promote productions effectively.
• Evaluate and select scripts suitable for the theater’s artistic vision.
• Maintain a positive public presence, attending promotional events and community outreach.
• Engage with audiences and receive feedback to improve future productions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts or related field
• Additional certifications in directing are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years directing multi-disciplinary theatrical productions
