Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applications to assess risks and exposures.
• Determine appropriate premium levels based on risk analysis.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of underwriting decisions.
• Assist in training new staff on underwriting processes and best practices.
• Conduct regular audits of underwriting files for compliance.
• Collaborate with claims adjusters to monitor claim outcomes.
• Participate in developing underwriting policies and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and agents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Relevant underwriting certification is a plus

Experience

• At least 4 years of insurance underwriting experience
