Job Description

Join our dynamic public health team as an Epidemiologist in Pretoria. You’ll be responsible for data collection and interpretation, implementing health programs, and liaising with stakeholders to enhance community health initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct epidemiological research to identify health trends and risks.
  • Analyze public health data to inform health policies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on findings to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other public health professionals to develop health programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of health interventions.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to promote health initiatives.
  • Monitor the epidemiological situation and report on outbreaks.
  • Collaborate with local and national health organizations in public health campaigns.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Epidemiology or Public Health
  • PhD is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the public health sector
