Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Childcare Worker to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being while engaging them in educational activities. You will be instrumental in creating a nurturing environment that fosters emotional, social, and physical development.

Responsibilities

• Encourage social skills through group activities and interactions.
• Plan and initiate educational programs that foster learning through play.
• Assist in the organization of special events and activities.
• Monitor developmental milestones and report any concerns to the Centre Manager.
• Provide first aid and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Maintain records of children's development and progress.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/NQF Level 4 qualification
• Higher Certificate in Childcare or equivalent is an advantage.

Experience

• 2+ years experience in a childcare or teaching role.

Technical Skills

• Child Safety Protocols

Languages

• English: Fluent
