Job Description

Health First is seeking a passionate Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients, devising treatment plans, and providing rehabilitative care to enhance their quality of life. Ideal candidates will have a strong clinical background and a desire to foster patient recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop appropriate therapy plans.
  • Utilize various physiotherapy techniques to assist in patient recovery.
  • Track treatment outcomes, documenting improvements or setbacks.
  • Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises tailored to their needs.
  • Provide advice on lifestyle changes to aid recovery and prevent future injuries.
  • Attend regular meetings for team collaboration and strategy discussions.
  • Assist with the training and supervision of junior staff and interns.
  • Engage in research to enhance the understanding of rehabilitation practices.
  • Participate in internal and external workshops and conferences.
  • Promote a positive environment for patient healing and recovery.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in physiotherapy practice
