Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' daily activities and overall wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine their occupational therapy needs.
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate therapeutic interventions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Utilize adaptive equipment and techniques to enhance patient independence.
• Document patient progress and prepare reports as needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Registration with HPCSA is essential

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a healthcare environment.
