Responsibilities

• Create innovative designs for aircraft systems and subsystems.
• Perform simulations and analyses of aerospace concepts using CAD software.
• Work with manufacturing teams to transition designs into production.
• Conduct flight test planning and execution of flight tests.
• Provide technical support to product lines and customer service teams.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of compliance requirements and certifications.
• Engage with stakeholders for effective communication on project status.
• Evaluate performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Document project processes and results to aid in further development.
• Contribute to research papers and presentations.

Advantageous

• Experience with wind tunnel testing: Familiar with conducting aerodynamic tests in a controlled environment.
• Familiarity with aerospace regulations: Knowledge of compliance requirements set by aviation authorities.
