Job Description

As a Clinical Pharmacist in Johannesburg, you'll be instrumental in patient care by managing medication therapy, engaging in therapeutic consultations, and providing education on drug therapies. We need a pharmacist who can thrive in a collaborative environment and is committed to improving the health of our patients through high-quality pharmaceutical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Implement clinical pharmacy protocols to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Analyze patient data to support medication therapy decisions.
  • Drive pharmaceutical interventions in collaboration with clinical teams.
  • Facilitate transitions of care and follow-up services for patients.
  • Generate reports on medication safety and effectiveness.
  • Develop educational materials for patients and healthcare providers.
  • Encourage adherence to medication guidelines and protocols.
  • Lead pharmacy initiatives aimed at improving patient care.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, PharmD preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred
