Job Description

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care to animals, work collaboratively with a team of professionals, and engage with pet owners to promote animal health.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgery.
• Collaborate with team members to improve clinic protocols.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding health plans.
• Conduct health assessments and preventive care assessments.
• Participate in community outreach programs related to animal health.
• Stay informed about advances in veterinary medicine.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Medicine preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a clinical setting
