We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated nurse to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in nursing with a focus on patient care and support. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and ensuring patient comfort in our facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients of various ages and conditions.
• Conduct health assessments and document findings accurately.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to facilitate care and ensure quality treatment.
• Provide guidance to junior nursing staff and assist in their development.
• Advocate for patient needs and address any concerns or complaints.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nurse qualification
• BSc in Nursing is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Clinical assessment
• Medication administration
• Patient education

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Communication skills

Certifications

• Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with pediatric care: Advanced knowledge and practice in caring for children.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): Preferred certification for managing critical cardiac situations.
