Job Description

As a Chartered Accountant in our Johannesburg office, you will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and month-end closing processes. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can provide actionable financial insights and contribute to decision-making at a senior level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely preparation of accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Evaluate investment opportunities for the organization.
• Implement best practices in financial reporting and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance and audit requirements.
• Provide strategic financial advice to management.
• Coordinate with the legal team on contracts and compliance.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Act as a liaison with external financial institutions.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification
• Professional development in finance is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, compliance, or financial management
