Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Environmental Consultant based in Johannesburg to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in assessing environmental impacts, providing solutions, and helping our clients navigate complex regulatory frameworks. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects aimed at promoting sustainability and protecting our natural resources.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate environmental risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Create and maintain documentation related to environmental assessments.
• Coordinate with external agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Lead public consultations regarding environmental projects.
• Prepare and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Support the development of corporate sustainability initiatives.
• Assist in the implementation of environmental policies and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
• Postgraduate qualifications in a related field are desirable

Experience

• 5+ years in environmental consultancy or a similar role

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
• Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
