Penetration Tester

Job Description

As a Penetration Tester in our Cape Town office, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities within our systems and applications. You will use your expertise to simulate cyber attacks and help enhance our security protocols, ensuring that our client's data remains safe and secure.

Responsibilities

• Execute structured penetration testing methodologies including OWASP and PTES.
• Analyze and assess security weaknesses within the organization's digital assets.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Create and maintain test cases and documentation for security assessments.
• Lead workshops to educate staff on security risks and best practices.
• Collaborate in developing new security tools and techniques.
• Engage with external stakeholders to promote cybersecurity awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of practical experience in security assessments
