Product Designer

Job Description

As a Product Designer, your primary goal will be to create engaging, easy-to-use interfaces that resonate with users. Located in Durban, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, employing UX research methods to inform your designs while ensuring that they meet business objectives. You'll have the opportunity to shape the user experience from concept through execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides.
• Engage in cross-department collaboration to align on product messaging and presentation.
• Identify and troubleshoot design problems proactively.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in product/UX design

Technical Skills

• Interaction design
• Visual design

Certifications

• Interaction Design Certificate
• UX Design Fundamentals Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
