Job Description

We're on the lookout for a motivated IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will provide technical support to our users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help maintain our IT infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all IT users.
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements.
  • Manage backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repairs and equipment procurement.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IT strategy discussions.
  • Assist with data migration and system upgrades.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Monitor IT helpdesk tickets, ensuring follow-up and closure.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with IT trends.
  • Support the overall IT strategic objectives of the organization.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role
