Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, resolving software and hardware issues, and ensuring the overall efficiency of IT systems. You will work closely with users to provide top-notch support and solve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate user onboarding and training on IT systems.
• Document troubleshoot processes for future reference.
• Participate in IT strategy meetings.
• Assist in the development of user manuals and guides.
• Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) for issue resolution.
• Stay updated with the latest IT technologies and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT or related discipline
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in technical support

• Linux
• Virtualization Technologies

Languages

• English: Fluent
