Job Description

As a Civil Engineer at our Cape Town office, you'll be responsible for developing and executing engineering designs, coordinating with teams to deliver high-quality projects, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Your expertise will be essential in driving project timelines and ensuring successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs and solutions for residential and commercial constructions.
• Evaluate project designs for sustainability and environmental impact.
• Work with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance across all phases of project execution.
• Lead site visits to assess conditions and implement project requirements effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline project workflows.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to inform project decisions.
• Document project processes and prepare necessary regulatory submissions.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the construction phases.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Surveying

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) certification

Languages
