Chemical Technician

Job Description

As a Chemical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our chemical products. Your primary responsibility will be to perform various chemical tests and analyses on materials and substances, while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical and physical analyses to support product quality assurance.
• Document laboratory findings and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure process improvements.
• Participate in safety audits and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Support the development of new formulations and product lines.
• Mentor students or interns in laboratory techniques and practices.
• Prepare samples and perform experiments according to standard operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities for improving testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in the certification of laboratory equipment and tools.
• Implement corrective actions for identified non-conformities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Relevant certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a chemical laboratory environment.

Technical Skills

• Statistical Software (Minitab, SAS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
