We are seeking a talented Blockchain Developer to join our growing team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining blockchain-based solutions. Your expertise will ensure the security and efficiency of our blockchain applications.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain documentation for blockchain architectures.
• Develop front-end interfaces integrated with smart contracts.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to blockchain.
• Collaborate effectively with product management to meet business needs.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues within blockchain implementations.
• Engage with the blockchain community to enhance knowledge sharing.
• Implement software development best practices in blockchain projects.
• Support the deployment of blockchain applications across multiple environments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
• Master's degree in Cryptography is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on blockchain

• JavaScript

Certifications

• Certified Ethereum Developer
• Certified Cryptocurrency Trader

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of various consensus algorithms: Familiarity with Proof of Work, Proof of Stake, and other consensus methods.
