IT Support Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will provide technical support to our users while maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly will be key to our success.

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Provide support for mobile devices and telecommunication systems.
• Create and manage backups of data as per company policy.
• Develop and maintain IT documentation and manuals.
• Assist in planning and implementing IT projects.
• Provide support for software installations and upgrades.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role

• CompTIA A+ Certification
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

• Familiarity with VoIP systems: Experience with Voice over IP systems and hardware.
