DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both development and operations, working collaboratively to improve our CI/CD pipelines while ensuring high availability and performance of our cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiencies.
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions to enhance our service offerings.
• Evaluate and recommend tools for monitoring and improving uptime.
• Conduct root cause analysis for critical incidents and propose solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in DevOps.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management

• Azure

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

Languages

• English: Fluent
