Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. In this role, you will assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer medications, and support patients and their families. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing compassionate care and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patient outcomes and report on progress.
• Administer IV therapy and monitor patients' reactions.
• Facilitate communication between healthcare team members.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
• Guide and mentor junior nursing staff as required.
• Participate in shift handovers and communicate key patient information.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

• Experience in an acute care setting is an advantage

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
