We're seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and a drive to foster sustainable development and compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform site assessments to evaluate environmental conditions.
• Engage with government bodies and compliance agencies.
• Conduct field studies and data collection.
• Draft environmental impact reports and mitigation plans.
• Lead workshops and informational sessions for clients.
• Assess potential environmental risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks for sustainability projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related field
